Pressing on

I get the impression that WordPress is more suited than Tumblr to the long-winded drivel I’m spewing. Or…and this is more likely…no one really cares what I’m saying and where I choose to express my thoughts is entirely inconsequential.

Nevermind that, I have decided to give WordPress a go.

I’ve named my creation themumblr as a sort of homage to the platform that launched my (as yet unsuccessful) writing career and even imported some of my best (of a mediocre bunch) work from the hybrid social networking/blogging site.

The name is also fitting because people can hardly hear me when I talk which has forced me to adopt writing as my preferred form of communication, whether it be texting, tweeting or blogging. With the ultimate goal of eliminating face to face contact with other humans altogether.
